Red Oak

Red Oak is often used as the base comparison species for judging the
hardness of a wood type. It is hard enough for both residential and
commercial applications.

Color: Red Oak comes in a moderate range of colors, from lighter tan
tones with pinkish lighlights to slight gray to darker browns. Over time.
color will change slightly with some ambering. Our select grade will
have fairly uniform color within each board but variation from baord to
board.
