Brazilian Cherry / Jatoba Brazilian Cherry / Jatoba is extremely hard, in fact more than twice as hard
as Red Oak. Much more suitable for households with dogs, high traffic areas,
or commercial applications than American Cherry. Because of Jatoba's nature characteristics, it might be easily crack or deform if the enviornmental condition
is not properly maintained! (For more detail please refer to Maintenance.) Color: Very sensitive to light. Fresh out of the box, it can be a very pale pink or
salmon color. PLEASE NOTE: Jatoba will turn a dark reddish color when fully
aged. This occurs within a few days or weeks if in direct sunlight or over a
6 to 8 month period otherwise. Areas under a rug or piece of furniture will not
change at all. This is normal and is ismilar to American Cherry. Many people
