Asian Teak has been prized for centuries for its stability and for outside use,
such as houses, decks, and boat building. It is only 90% as hard as Red Oak,
but makes up for hardness with its extremely stable nature. Usd in commercial
settings Teak may not be as hard as other choices, but its earth tones and color
hides many dings and scratches that would be more obvious in other woods.
Color: Fresh out of the box Teak will have a wide variety of colors including
beige, green, pink and brown but over time and with exposure to light will turn
a beautiful, uniform golden brown.
