American Hard Maple - Auburn

American Hard Maple is 15% harder than Red Oak. It is suitable for most
uses, whether residential or commercial. It is as stable as Red Oak, though,
so slight shrinkage or cupping is normal under extremely low or high humidity
conditions.

Color: Hard Maple's natural color ranges from white sapwood to dark brown
heartwood. Our Country Auburn grade uses all the naturally occuring colors
with a gorgeous Auburn stain color which mellows outt the stark differences
between sapwood and heartwood. This cherry like color preserves the
beauty of Hard Maple's natural characteristics and goes well with many modern
furniture and cabinet styles.
